Homeschooling in Chelmsford, MA

After trying the local elementary public school in Chelmsford (South Row) for 5 years, we decided to homeschool our two children. We have never looked back. We have found that we can provide a rich learning environment that allows each child to learn at their own pace in a way that is both easy and enjoyable to them.

We are interested in making contact with other homeschoolers in Chelmsford with the purpose of discussing items of common interest such as the Chelmsford approval and evaluation process, resources available, etc.

In order to facilitate discussion on Chelmsford homeschooling issues, I have created a Yahoo group Chelmsfordhomeschoolers that enables you to post issues or questions and respond to other people's posts. Membership is only open to anyone who is homeschooling or contemplating homeschooling in Chelmsford. i.e. it is not otherwise open to the School committee nor staff of the superintendent's office. This is for the purpose of allowing open and frank discussion amongst the home educators. Applications to join have to be approved by the moderator.
